Teresa Chevian Obituary
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia (Catalano) Mercurio, she lived in East Providence and later Providence, before moving to Cranston in 1987.
Mrs. Chevian worked at Universal Optical in Providence as an inspector for 30 years, before retiring. She was skilled in many forms of needlework and was an avid baker.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Lawrence J. Chevian and his wife Carrie of New London, CT and Richard J. Chevian of Cranston; loving grandmother of Kymberly Chevian of Cranston; dear sister of Rosalie Usted of Goldensbridge, NY and Margie Paliotta of Cranston and the late Concetta Cunha, Josephine Morley, Anna Owens, Eleanor DeFiore and Mary, John, Frank and Anthony Mercurio.
Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI 02908.

Dear Uncle Messie, Richard & Family, We were saddened to learn of the passing of Aunt Tessie. What a warm, sweet person. Kymmy,
It was my privelidge to call your grandmother, "Nana". I always looked up to her as if she where my own. She opened her home, shared her cooking and showed me so much love. I will miss her termendously and will hold her in my heart forever.
