Teresa Imondi Obituary
of Yarmouth Port, MA, left us on Saturday, April 29, 2017, to join the Lord and her family members. Born in Providence, RI in 1943, she resided in Yarmouth Port since 2004. Teresa was the daughter of the late Nicholas Imondi, Sr. and Roma (DeCesare) Imondi and the sister of the late Nicholas Imondi, Jr. and is survived by her sister-in-law and caregiver Carole A. Imondi of Yarmouth Port. She was a devoted family member to her many cousins and friends.
She retired in 2000 after 39 years in service from a position of code enforcement and legal secretary for the City of Providence.
In addition to her devotion to family and religion, she enjoyed entertaining her friends relatives by preparing outstanding foods. She had a great interest in traveling both in the US and Europe. Teresa loved all pets and has left behind her friend, Zena. The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding care Teresa received from Cape Cod Hospital, the Massachusetts General Hospital, and Mayflower at Maplewood Rehabilitation, as well as the nursing, hospice staff, and many good friends that have support her through this time.
Visiting hours will take place Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 3-7pm at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, S. Dennis, MA 02660. Family and friends will gather 9:30-10:30am, Thursday, May 4th at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11am at Our Lady of the Cape, 468 Stoney Brook Rd., Brewster, MA 02631 followed by 2pm cemetery committal service at St. Francis Cemetery, 163 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02680.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 434 Route 134, Suite G-1, S. Dennis, MA 02660. For online condolences, please visit www.doanebealames.com.

To Teresa's family and friends:
Teresa worked with my Dad, Rudy, for many years at code enforcement in Prov. She was a dear friend to my parents and my Aunt Dottie. My father would give her a ride home every night from work. She often cooked amazing dinners and invited them to her home. My Dad loved her and her cooking. So sorry to hear of her passing and my condolences on your lost. She was a delightful woman.

Dear Carole,
please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your sister in law. I know how close you were and how much you depended on each other. You shared a bond that was quite special. Sorry I can't make the wake and funeral, it's to far for me to drive alone. I don't know whether you know or not, but my brother Tony now lives in Virginia and is in an assisted living facility, near his daughter Anne Marie, he has early onset dementia. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Teresa, Thank you for the lovely childhood memories! You were my secret Santa Claus letter writer!! I loved being around you and Roma as a child. You will be missed but my memories will last forever.
