Theresa Rao Obituary
95, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre, North Providence.
She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio "Mal" Rao. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Iannone and Maria (DiSegna) Iannone.
She is survived by her loving daughters Lucille M. Pereschino and her husband Salvatore Pereschino of North Kingstown and Deborah A. Restante of Cranston, and mother in-law of the late John A. Restante.
Theresa was the cherished grandmother of Jessica Delemonte, Lauren Heaney, Beth Moretti and Randy Pereschino. She also leaves six great-grandchildren, Emilia & Natalie Delemonte, Johanna & James Heaney and Mia & Phoebe Moretti.
She was the sister of the late Mary Manzi, Anna Massore, Ernest Iannone, Phyllis Rossi and Albert Iannone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday December 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church1525 Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

My aunt Anna Warburton loved her like a sister and they looked out for each other. She was so good to me and my family. They are together in heaven.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Rao. Though, to have reached the age of 95 shows that she had what the ancient man Moses called in the book of Psalms, "special mightiness."
