Thomas Lamagna Obituary

LAMAGNA, THOMAS D. of Cumberland, died peacefully after a short illness on September 8, 2015. Tom was the son of the late Albert Lamagna and the late Mary (Caito) Lamagna of Providence. He is survived by a brother, Joseph A Lamagna, Esq., of Cumberland, two sisters, Carol A Musso, of Providence, and Virginia M Diano of Charlestown and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Tom was a member of the Fogarty Center community for most of his adult life and was a Special Olympics Champion for many years. He also was an avid fan of Neil Diamond and attended many of his concerts. A Memorial Mass will be held for Tom on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to The Fogarty Center, 220 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911, will be much appreciated. so sorry for your loss. i remember Tommy from Oak st. Tommy was older then us he would ride his red bike down the street turn into my driveway and if he seen us he would point his finger gun at us shoot us and we would shoot back, Tommy would always say "you missed" great memories. R.I.P Tommy.
