Vincent Politelli Obituary

POLITELLI, VINCENT SR., 'JIMMY', 74, of Leander Street, died Wednesday at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Schiavio) Politelli.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Adele (Tedeschi) Politelli.

Mr. Politelli was the owner of the former Vincent's Pizza in Providence.

He was the beloved father of Vincent Politelli of North Providence. Loving brother of Anna Corcoran of Wethersfield, CT and the late Anthony Politelli.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-7 P.M. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org

Jim, My sincere condolences, your dad was a good friend, always there to a help friend in need. I will cherish many great memories of him from the time I was 11yrs old on Brook Street to Hartford ave He will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He is at rest now with his partner Mary and Uncle Bill
