GALLUCCI, VITO A. "VIC"
85, of Camillus, NY, passed away Thursday, May 4,2017 in St. Augustine, FL. Born and raised in East Providence, RI, he moved to Syracuse NY in 1975. A graduate of East Providence High School (1949), Vic was employed with the Syracuse Chiefs Baseball Club for 37 years before retiring in 2011. Vic was a member of the Baldwinsville NY Moose Club and Fulton NY Elks Lodge and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his many close friends.
Son of the late Vito A. Gallucci Sr. and Philomena (Marcotrigiano) Gallucci, Vic is survived by his brother Paul Gallucci (wife Marcelle) of St. Augustine, FL; nieces Paula and Terri Hogan, Brenda (Hogan) Bartone and nephew Glen Hogan, all of Rhode Island; nieces Linda Brazeal of VA, and Carolyn McFarland of FL; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary A.(Gallucci) Hogan.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 7-8 PM with a memorial service to follow at 8 PM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, RI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vic's name may be made to ASPCA Memorial Donations, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
