William Piccirillo Obituary
77, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Laraine (Bolduc) Piccirillo.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Anna (Giachelli) Piccirillo and step-son of the late Frances (Spaziano) Piccirillo.
William worked for the US Postal Service for five years. He was a printer for the Providence Journal for many years before retiring. He was former President of the Pressman Union, and a US Army veteran.
William coached youth baseball for many years and won many State Championships. He was inducted in the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame in 2017.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Philip Henry Piccirillo of Florida and Lisa Mary Wasilewski and her husband John of Warwick; loving grandfather of John William Wasilewski and Lia Laraine-Mary Wasilewski. He was the brother of the late Frank Piccirillo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Kevin's Church, 339 Sandy Lane Warwick, followed by burial with military honors in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
