Lisa Erickson Obituary
Lisa was born in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 22, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ruth (Eckenrode) Abend.
Lisa greatly loved her three grandchildren. They meant the world to her. She also enjoyed day trips to the Mohegan Sun Casino. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
Surviving are her son, Daniel Erickson and his wife, Lesliel grandchildren, Daniel Jacob "D.J.", Nicholas and Kayleigh; sisters Ruth Ungvarsky and Kristina Cronan; brothers, Louis and Raymond Abend and Eric Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews.
A blessing service for Lisa will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with Chaplain Joseph P. Rafferty of Celtic Hospice officiating. Memorial calling hours will be held from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

God bless you cousin. You always made me feel like brother and welcomed Annette and Valerie into the family with open arms. Your goodness and kindness is reflected in how you raised Danny to be an outstanding man, husband and father.

Lisa was a good friend to us all and we will sorely miss her. Our comfort lies in the fact that she is now happy and pain free, reunited with her loved ones that have gone before. The way her family pulled together to help and support her these past few weeks is remarkable. Dan and Leslie, the extraordinary way you showed your love for her with the wonderful care you provided was something we were blessed to witness.
