Sally Kaminski Obituary

HUNLOCK CREEK — Sally J. Kaminski, 62, of Adams Drive, Hunlock Creek, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. She succumbed to her injuries sustained from a fall in November.

Born March 7, 1958, she was a daughter of the late William and Margie Allabaugh Adams. She resided in the Hunlock Creek area her entire life and was a graduate of Northwest Area High School.

She married Clement (Clem) Kaminski Jr. on Oct. 23, 1982, and shared 33 years of marriage until his passing on July 13, 2016. Sally was previously employed at Geisinger, also as a secretary for Northwest Area High School until her sons graduated. She then continued her career at the IBEW in Hanover Township. Sally's main interests in life were caring for her family and her horses, Diego and Valor, as well as her loving collie, Elektra.

She will be deeply missed by her family and joins her husband, Clem, in heaven.

Surviving are sons, Clement C. Kaminski III (Chuck), partner Barbara Jean VanFossen (Jeanie) and Kyle A. Kaminski, fiancée Bailey Wright; her sisters, Jane and William Killian, Joy Ceaser, and Billie Ann Adams, all of Hunlock Creek; sister-in-law, Karen and John Paciotti, of Wilkes-Barre and brother-in-law, Doug and Sharon Kaminski, of Forty Fort as well as several nieces and nephews.

Viewing and visitation hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the public calling hours with the Rev. Neil S. Martin, pastor of Calvary Bible Chapel, Muhlenburg, officiating.
