To the family:
Bernice took care of our Aunt (Isabel Unger) for so many years and we came to love and appreciate her so much. I know my Aunt could not have stayed in her home and stayed healthy for so long without Bernice. I stayed in touch with Bernice until just recently and I am so sorry about her death. I'll never forget the picture in my mind of Bernice singing my Aunt's favorite hymn to her as she lay dying in the hospital, and how much she helped us as we figured out how to handle my Aunt's affairs. What a giving person she was. I know she will be missed.

Dear Brad, Bart and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this time of grief.
I will always remember Bernice as a wonderfully alive "mover and shaker!"
I can still see her smile and can imagine all of heaven is smiling with her now!
Blessings!

Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time. I knew Bernice from the time when my father was the minister at her church. She was as strong, warm presence. I will always remember her as "the huggy lady", as she called herself.

Brad and Bart, I am sorry to hear about your mother. She lived across from my Aunt Maxine, and I used to visit with your family alot when I was a child. My thoughts and prayers are with you...
