Beulah J. Group Beulah J. Group, age 87, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Born July 9, 1927, in Mercersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Laura Kuhn Peck. A homemaker most of her adult life, Mrs. Group cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, and going on trips with the F&M "Go Club". She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two children, Dana S. Ward (husband Perry) of Fayetteville, PA and David E. Group (wife Lori) of Chambersburg, PA; three step-daughters, Judy Ann Group Armstrong (husband the late Paul) of Fayetteville, PA, Gladys J. Group Crabtree (husband Ray L.) of Fairmont, WV, and Cinda D. Group Kauffman (husband William D.) of Shippensburg, PA; a son-in-law , Elmer T. Kipe; 3 grandchildren, Kathryn Group Martin (husband Conrad), Kelsey Group, and Mychal Group; 10 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, and three siblings, Paul Peck of OH, Ruby Oliver of St. Thomas, PA, and Jim Peck of NM. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy R. Group in 1988, a step-daughter, Gloria Kay Group Kipe and four siblings. Funeral services to honor Mrs. Group will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1 PM at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 400 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA 17201, where Rev. Garry Kipe will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6 8 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Tuesday. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery.
