Dennis E. Summers, 74, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Shippensburg Health Care Center. He was born September 6, 1942 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Floyd E. and Lois (Ommert) Summers. He was a 1960 graduate of C.A.S.H.S. and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot. Dennis served in the U.S.A.F. for a number of years. He was a drummer and played in bands for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his two sons, Mark and Jay Summers; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Sarah, Robyn, Megan, Joshua; and a great-granddaughter, Bryanna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yukiko Summers; and brother, Rodney H. Summers. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
