Maynard Plum Obituary
Hagerstown, MD - Maynard Henry Plum, age 81, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in his home.
Mr. Plum is survived by his two daughters Cindy Wolfe and Sandi Holler, two grandchildren Drew Holler and Sarah Leiter, one great-granddaughter Eliza, his special companion Linda (Peach) and his beloved dog and best friend Molly.
He was actively involved in Two Top Ruritan in Mercersburg, PA and was a charter member of the Hagerstown Auto Racing Club. He thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR and watching and feeding his birds and squirrels.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 3 at 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA. Burial will follow the service at the Shanks Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Shanks Church Rd. Greencastle. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Washington County 13011 Maugansville, RD. Hagerstown, MD 21740. I can still see your walk, how strange I can still see you walking...for such a short petite fellow, you walked tall.
You loved life, never expecting to just not be anymore, and at the same time dreading it, because you did not want to miss anything.
The grass at TwoTop will never be the same, without you and dear Mollie.
It was your retreat to enjoy the fresh mountain air while Mollie ran to her heart's content.
