Barbara Poulin Obituary

Barbara "Barb" Poulin (née Deemer), aged 86, passed away on Nov. 12, 2024, in Finksburg, Maryland.
Born on Jan. 10, 1938, in Henderson Township, Pennsylvania, Barb was known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit. Barb graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1956
Barb's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She is survived by her son, Jim Poulin (Kelly Allen); grandchildren Jess Poulin (Cathy Hull), Anthony Poulin, Brooke Poulin, Kyle Friedman (Logan Wallace), Adam Friedman, and Joey Poulin; and sister Wendy Deemer.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Emer and Helen Deemer; siblings, Ruth Anne, Jill, Bill and Chuck; son Steve; and grandson Steven.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Barb's home was always filled with the aroma of her cooking and baking, a testament to her love for making others feel special and cared for. She was an avid player of board games, particularly Scrabble, and enjoyed playing cards.
Barb embraced the role of "Grandma" not only to her biological grandchildren but to all who knew her by that affectionate title.
Barb's life was marked by her kindness, generosity, and the deep connections she fostered throughout her years. Her legacy of love and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
