Daniel Kraynak Obituary
The son of Thomas and Susan (Rushnok) Kraynak, he was born on Oct. 25, 1963, in Indiana, PA.
In 1981, Dan and his father, Tom, formed T & D Kraynak Mining. After his father's passing in 2006, Dan became president of the company until his retirement in 2010.
Dan's orthodox faith was of great importance to him. He loved spending time in the outdoors and particularly enjoyed watching the deer and wildlife.
He was preceded in death by his father on Dec. 22, 2006, his mother on Jan. 29, 2008, and his brother, David B. Kraynak, on Sept. 3, 1980.
The V. Rev. Archpriest Mark Meholick will have a small private graveside service for close family and friends at SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery in Urey.
In recognition of the time and care Dan dedicated to the cemetery over the years, you may remember Dan with memorial contributions to the SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Please make check payable to SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church and mail your contribution in c/o St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 102 N. 3rd St., DuBois, PA 15801.
