Edward B. Sager, 74, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Mohnton, passed away on April 13, 2018, at Lifecare Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born on June 2, 1943, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Bernice (Gahagen) Sager.
Ed grew up in Punxsutawney, and after graduation, he went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. During his time in the Navy, he served on a battleship.
He was a retired electrical engineer and held positions in both consulting and project engineering.
He loved woodworking and building furniture, metal work and building cars. He enjoyed going to antique car shows, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Ed is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kamathy (Fields) Sager of Mechanicsburg; a son, Wayne Sager of Rockwall, Texas; three daughters, Stacie Sager of Washington, Renee Antolick of Camp Hill, and Sara Larde of Ohio; two granddaughters, Kaelyn and Elliana Antolick; three brothers; and two sisters.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
