Kenneth Stiver Obituary

Kenneth Ray Stiver, 72, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born in Punxsutawney on June 19, 1952, and he was the son of the late Ronald Stiver and Margaret Jane (Ruth) Haag.
Ken formerly worked at Loree Footwear and Jackson China. He was a member of REACT for many years.
He enjoyed putting model cars together and watching television.
He is survived by two children, Cory (Krisy) Stiver and Connie (Aaron) Bennett, all of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren, Brandon, Louise and Nathan; and one brother, Jerry (Alberta) Haag of Punxsutawney. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, George Haag.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Paul Davis.
Interment will follow at Devers Cemetery, Rossiter.

Sorry for your loss. Kenny will be missed greatly. I always liked talking to Kenny. When I was on nightly walks I'd see him setting outside the high rise and would stop and talk with him. I've known him for years. He would always talk about his brother. You could tell the Kenny loved his brother greatly. Rest easy my friend you will be greatly missed

I knew him from school and he was so sweet.When you would run into him around town he was always friendly and polite.one year we were talking and he was telling me about his church.I hope he's at peace now.

He always smiled and had a nice compliment to say when we'd see each other anywhere! May our God send angels to comfort and hold their arms you at this sad time.
