Larry W. Moses

1948 - 2025

Larry W. Moses, 76, of Oliveburg, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Myra R. (Collins) and William Moses.
On Aug. 26, 2000, he married Karla K. (Knecht) Moses, who survives.
He served in the United States Army and retired as a Master Sergeant after 24 years of service.
Larry retired from his job at Career Link Department of Labor and Industry as a Specialist.
He was an excellent harmonica player who enjoyed music, cars, motorcycles, his grandchildren and spending time with his pets.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Olivia Dobbins and husband Trevor of Punxsutawney and Helena Moses of Portland, Oregon; three siblings, brothers David and Michael Moses and a sister, Darlene Bolen; four grandchildren, Austin and Travis Dobbins, Ashely Hawkins and Chloe O'Connell; a sister-in-law, Mona Moses; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kevin Moses; and a brother-in-law, Frank Bolen.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
