Tina McCoy Bowser Obituary

Tina M. McCoy Bowser, 44, of Rossiter, passed away peacefully at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital on Nov. 29, 2021, due to COVID complications.
She was born Jan. 9, 1977, in Punxsutawney.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Leonard Bowser Sr., and her children, Leonard Bowser Jr. and Katelynn Bowser Jones. She is also survived by her father, Ronald McCoy Sr. of Rossiter; brothers Sam Miller, James Miller, Donald Miller, Doug Miller, Ronald McCoy Jr. and Daniel McCoy; and sisters Lori Gaston, Sheri Roller, Christy Kirbaugh and Melissa Nichols; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Delores McCoy.
She was a caregiver by nature and would help anyone and everyone. She loved helping people as she worked in many nursing homes throughout her lifetime. Tina loved spending time with her family, friends and her special dog, "Pickles." She loved anything that dealt with butterflies and Christmas. Her favorite color was red.
There will be no funeral service. Her remains have been entrusted to PA Simple Cremation in Clearfield. There will be a memorial dinner at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at the Punxsutawney Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Leonard Bowser Sr.

tina , she was one of the few people i met in my life that wasnt afraid to say how she was feeling , maybe why we became friends :) fly high tina and watch over your family and friends we will always miss you till we meet again . prayers to your family and may god help them threw their grief

Tina was always kind to me and my daughter. She was a friend from the first day we met over 17 years ago. We always made each other laugh when we needed it. She let me into her home and to get to know her children as they grew up. She was a great mother and tender hearted soul. I will miss you Tina.
