William Weisenstein Obituary

William "Bill" Weisenstein, of Anita, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the age of 79.
He was born on July 14, 1945, to the late Victor and Judy (French) Weisenstein of Butler.
On Nov. 10, 1973, he married Nancy Lee (Bush) Weisenstein, in Punxsutawney, who survives.
Bill was a 1963 graduate of Butler High School and subsequently enlisted in the United States Navy, where he proudly served four years. His love of this country continued throughout his life. He was also the business owner of LM&M Machine Company in the 1980s, located in Big Run. Bill spent many years in Lakeland, Florida, where he and Nancy enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine.
Bill had a deep passion for his family and spent much of his time working in his shop making lighted liquor bottles that he shared with all his friends and family.
In addition, he was a huge NASCAR fan and never missed an opportunity to attend a race or remember his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee (Bush) Weisenstein of Anita; children Lori Maciejewski (Rand Franklin) of San Antonio, Texas, Mike Maciejewski (Beth) of Erie, Mark Maciejewski (Tricia) of Shippensburg, and Traci Graham (Doug) of Butler; five grandchildren, Erin Kunselman of Denver, Colorado, Megan Kunselman of Austin, Texas, Sean Stier of San Antonio, Texas, Brady Maciejewski of Shippensburg, and Devon Graham of Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Maxon and Addison of Denver.
He was proceeded in death by his beloved grandson, Levi Maciejewski; his parents; and his brother, James.
A private memorial service will be held for his close family and friends at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Church, Grange.
