AUDREY M. CORNELIUS

Audrey M. Cornelius Audrey M. Cornelius was born on August 7, 1941, in Glandorf, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Albert & Gertrude (Uphaus) Kleman. Audrey died October 9, 2025 at The Ganzhorn Suites Specialized Memory Care Facility in Powell, Ohio. On July 6, 1968, Audrey married Lance Cornelius (deceased) in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glandorf, Ohio. They were married twenty-four years. She is survived by three daughters: Stefanie Cornelius, Stacey Stepp, Shannon (Thomas) Donnelly; four granddaughters: Rachel & Emma Nicodemus, Sophie & Abby Donnelly; one sister: Rosemary (Bruce) Hume; one sister-in-law: Carol Ann Holmes; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased siblings include two brothers: Robert Kleman and Karl Kleman; brother-in-law and sister: Oscar & Betty Burgei; one son-in-law: Kevin Stepp; father and mother-in-law: Walter & Dorothy Cornelius; one brother-in-law: Russell "Jack" Holmes. Audrey was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She worked at Massey Ferguson, Fifth Third Bank, and Coldwell Banker King Thompson. She enjoyed watching sporting events, playing games/cards, reading, and traveling. The family wishes to thank The Ganzhorn Suites Specialized Memory Care Facility, which was her warm and welcoming home for the final ten and a half months of her life. The family also wishes to thank Capital City Hospice who provided care and comfort, for the final days of her life. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road in Upper Arlington. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at St. Andrew Parish, 1899 McCory Avenue. Father Lawrence Tabi, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio.
