CHARLES HUNT Obituary

CHARLES CECIL HUNT Charles Cecil Hunt, 85, passed away July 20, 2021 in Pahrump. He was born December 7, 1935 in Gary, Ind. He previously lived in Las Vegas before settling down in Pahrump for 27 years. Charles served in the Air Force for seven years and seven months. He loved horses and was a jockey, trainer of racehorses, farrier, and breeder of Paint horses. He loved his drag racer, worked as a mechanic and fleet supervisor at the Las Vegas Valley Water District for 23 years after his service in the Air Force. He also enjoyed jitterbugging to old time rock n' roll music and spending time with treasured friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Tina Hunt of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Dolores Stockman of Mena, Ark. and Donna Gilger of Pahrump; and son, James Hunt of Jewett, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Candace Hunt of Pahrump; sons, Russel W. (Jill) Hunt and Jeffrey G. Kruger of Las Vegas; daughter, Karen (Frank) Cook of Henderson, Nev.; brother, Lloyd Hunt of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be on 8/7/21 at 11:00 a.m. Call Candy for the address: 775-910-1076.
