Grandpa Earl was the only grandfather I knew on my mother's side (he was married for many years to Violet Marsh, who is my grandmother). He was such a funny person, I loved his sense of humor. When I was a boy, he would always send me books on all sorts of topics. I loved getting packages from him and reading his highlighted passages. I hope my retirement years are as dynamic and full of world travels as his were. A life well-lived, I'll miss you Grandpa. I'm happy that my kids got to meet you too.
