PASTOR DREESE Obituary

PASTOR EDWIN DREESE Pastor Edwin Dreese, age 70, passed away at home Wed., Jan. 18, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born Dec. 6, 1946 in Butler, PA, the eldest son of Lee and Marjorie Dreese. He served in the US Air Force. Ed and wife, Neva, pastored Heritage Bible Church here in Pahrump for the past 12 years. He was a great asset to Pahrump and a contributor to the community. At one time, he owned and operated Homestead Cafe, which made it possible to be the place to prepare food for the Nye County Coalition Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, prior to having the Coalition Building. He prepared and served food for 8 years. Edwin was preceded in death by his father, Lee Dreese and mother, Marjorie Dreese. He is survived by his wife, Neva; brother, Donald (Della) Dreese; children: Richard (Kerstian) Dreese of Oklahoma City, OK; Garrett Dreese of Redding CA; Neva Ailene Fitzgerald of Wilberton, OK; Stepheni Flaminio of Pahrump; grandaughter Tanilla Dreese and grandson Logan Flaminio, both of Pahrump; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Bible Church, 3061 Heritage Dr. Please come to celebrate with family and friends.

In the past year I have looked in numerous places to try to contact Ed and Neva. I´m so sorry to see this news and obituary. My condolences to his family and friends and all of the residence a Pahrump who were no doubt touched by this gentle soul.
