PENELOPE BOND Obituary

PENELOPE A. BOND Our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Penelope A. Bond, went to be with her Lord & Savior, Christ Jesus, on May 4, 2021 at age 85. She leaves behind two daughters, Linda S. (Thomas) Gaboian and Dawn M. (Timothy) Sargis; two sons, Donald T. (Marcia) Anderson Jr. and Frank J. Schveiger Jr. She is also survived by two sisters, Marilyn Karras and Pamala S. (Edward) Johnson; and one brother, Allan F. (Silvia) Rogers; six nieces and nephews; 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Donald T. Anderson Sr. and Mark F. Bond Sr.; one infant son, one granddaughter and one nephew. Penelope was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong homemaker and retired from the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif. She was also a member of the Pahrump Red Hatters Club. She enjoyed retiring in Pahrump with her husband, Mark, and they were both lifelong members of the Elk's Lodge and Moose Club. Penelope also enjoyed studying the Holy Bible and different religions. She was baptized, Greek Orthodox, studied and attended Catholic School and belonged to the Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill. She studied and belonged to the St. James Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, Mich. and recently studied with and belonged to the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Pahrump. Penelope's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Elks Lodge June 26, 2021 at noon in Pahrump.
