WALTER WOOD Obituary

WALTER A. WOOD Walter A. Wood best known as "Wally" was born Nov. 21, 1941 in Portland, Maine. He was the only child of Walter Wood Sr. and Janie Wood who proceeds him in death. He also leaves behind his companion of 40 years, Billy Toler. Wally moved to Pahrump in 1980. In his early years, Wally was a movie actor. You can still see him in one of the episodes of Bonanza. Wally worked for several, prominent businesses in the 30 years he lived here such as the Pahrump Nugget, CCA Correctional Facility and Desert View Hospital. If you ever met Wally, you would not forget him. He was always so dashing and debonair and was always impeccable dressed. Wally was a love of anything Disney, and he loved all kind of animals. Wally will be deeply missed by all who loved and cared for him. Services for Wally's homecoming will be announced at a later date.
