Beryl J. Salmonson, 94, of Rock Island, Ill., died Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment took place at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the Moline Township Activity Center or a charity of your choice. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, assisted the family.
Born in Moline on March 1, 1931, Beryl was the daughter of Frank and Hazel Fremont Puschnig.
Survivors include her children, Terri (Douglas) Scherer, Richard (Lisa Gotthardt) Salmonson and Robert (Mary) Salmonson; grandchildren, Shawn, Rebekah, Bethany and Tyler; and brother, Bruce (JoAnn) Puschnig.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandson, Eric.
