Brett M. Freelove, 35, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away Sunday December 5, 2021 in Muscatine.

No services are planned at this time. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brett was born February 11, 1986 in Moline, IL. He graduated from Rockridge High School, Class of 2004.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and an electrician for Davenport Electric.

Brett was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are his son, Connor Freelove, Sherrard, IL; mother and stepfather, Jerri and Joe Kelly, Jackson, MS; father, Scott Freelove, East Moline, IL; brothers, Mitchell (Jena) McDaniel and their four children, Alachua, FL, and Andrew Freelove, Downey, CA; sister, Madison Freelove, Galesburg, IL; maternal grandmother, Judy Hergert, Illinois City, IL; paternal grandmother, Shirley Kremer, Moline, IL; step grandmother, Sandra Kelly, Whiteland, IN; aunt, Shannon Clark, Viola, IL; uncle, Jerry Freelove, Milan, IL; and numerous additional aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry McDaniel; and paternal grandfather, Ken Kremer.
