September 7, 1949-March 20, 2023
ROCK ISLAND-Carl E. Moore, 73, of Rock Island, passed Monday, March 20, 2023, at Generations of Rock Island. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at The Broadway, 2115 4th Avenue, Rock Island on Thursday, April 6th from 1:00-4:00 pm.
Carl was born September 7, 1949, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Gail and Hazel Moore.
Carl worked at MidAmerican Energy until retirement. He enjoyed jazz music, fishing, backyard gardening and was a die-hard Iowa Hawkeye fan! Carl is survived by his brother, Darnell Moore; sister, Gina Davis; longtime partner, Diann Nicholson; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Orr's Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
