MOLINE-Charles Warlop, 83, formerly of Moline, passed away July 7, 2021 at his residence in Tucson, AZ. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Funeral Mass and memorial luncheon to follow will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 6, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Charles was born on June 14, 1938 in Moline, IL, the son of Marcel and Yvonne (Morel) Warlop. He joined the priesthood after high school, and later in life became a teacher in the public school system, a social worker, and a respite care and hospice worker.
He enjoyed music and remained active in the church choir.
Charles is survived by Arlene Bauwens (sister) and her children, Daniel Warlop (son), and Diana Warlop (daughter).
