Christopher was born April 1, 1974, in Rock Island, Ill., a son of Curtis and Leslee Ann (Wise) Edmondson. He graduated from United Township High School, and received his bachelor's degree from Bradley University, Peoria, Ill.
Christopher was employed with Mediacom IT Engineering, in Des Moines.
Christopher was the closest thing to a fish that a man could be, he loved the water. He was a standout swimmer for United Township High School and later for Bradley University, specializing in the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly. You can still find his name on the wall of record holders at UT High School. He was also an avid water skier and cyclist with many fond family memories made on the Mississippi river or circling the many lakes of central Iowa on a bike trail. Chris also loved animals and was rarely without a cat or dog as a companion. No memory of Chris is complete without mention of ravioli, from the canned Chef Boyardee kind he loved as a kid to the fried ones, he'd consider one of his culinary specialties as an adult; Chris always loved ravioli.
Chris' favorite times were those spent with family and friends. He found great joy with his nieces and nephews, whom he adored.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Curtis and Sandra Edmondson; sister-in-law, Angela Edmondson; nieces and nephews, Dominic Edmondson, Grace Edmondson, Marcella Dainen Williams, Maya Danae Edmondson Williams, and Jordan Curtis Edmondson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and their families.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Leslee Ann Valentini; and brothers, Michael A. Edmondson and Steven C. Edmondson.
