Craig Stephen Hutchinson

1975 - 2023

Craig Stephen Hutchinson was born February 19th, 1975, to Steve and Sheila Hutchinson. He spent much of his childhood in Moline, Illinois, and graduated from Moline High School in 1993.

Craig loved music and performed at the church he attended, Bethel Assembly of God in Rock Island. He also sang in the choir at Moline High School and appeared in multiple stage plays including a standout performance as Judd in Oklahoma.

His friends recall Craig being a cheerleader for the accomplishments of others, always encouraging the pursuit of music and praising them as they improved. Craig provided guidance and encouragement, never judgement.

He loved to text about random subjects from aliens to Broadway showtunes to sports. He proudly cheered on his Buffalo Bills or Boston Celtics. You never knew what Craig might say but you would always smile as he said it.

Craig recently called Tulsa, Oklahoma, home and took pride in bartending at Peacemaker Lobster and Crab Co. He was close with his coworkers who knew him as "Hutch" and always made sure that the candy bowl he provided was full. He enjoyed taking his colleagues to the various musicals that would stop in Tulsa and loved to dress up when attending.

Craig passed on October 24th, 2023, and will be remembered and always loved by the friends that became his family over the years. Craig had a dark sense of humor and wanted everyone to know that he was an atheist, but he still appreciated a good hymn.

He is survived by his brother, Christian. His family requests their privacy at this time and asks not to be contacted.
