Dennis "Denny" Myrl Adams, 77, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, September 11, 2025 at MercyOne Genesis Silvis, Silvis, IL. Honoring Denny's wishes, he will be cremated. A Memorial Visitation will be held on October 4, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. at Gibson – Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron, IL. Friends and family are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating his life. Memorials may be made to Ducks Unlimited or your favorite veterans' organization.

Denny was born March 28, 1948 in Moline, IL, to Myrl and Eleanor (Stafford) Adams. He married Bobbie Doss on March 21, 1970 at the Port Byron Methodist Church. He was an assembler for John Deere Harvester, retiring after 33 years of service in 1999.

Denny was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and happiness in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on his favorite drivers. Handy and resourceful, Denny could find a solution to most problems, and he generously shared his knowledge and skills with others. He took special pride in teaching his daughters to be independent and capable, passing down lessons that will guide them throughout their lives.

He cherished every moment spent with his family, his grandchildren and great granddaughter. They gave him such joy. At home, Denny's beloved dog, Annie, was always by his side, a constant companion who brought him comfort and joy.

Denny is survived by his wife, Bobbie; daughters, Connie (Doyle) Stewart, Port Byron, Kelly (T.J.) Palmer, Clinton, MO, Nikki (Rich) Young, East Moline, IL; sister, Marlo (Mike) Doyle, Coal Valley, IL; grandchildren, Taylor (Trevor) Green, Des Moines, IA, Cody Young, East Moline, IL, Abby (J.R.) Loyd, Clinton, MO, Alex Palmer, Clinton, MO; great granddaughter, Kinsley Green; niece Erin (Justin) Swanson; and nephew Adam (Natalie) Doyle. He was preceded by his parents.
