Dennis K. Johnson
December 31, 1961-November 4, 2022
MOLINE-Dennis K. Johnson, 60, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, November 4, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Moline Memorial Park. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements. Dennis dedicated himself to various Korean War fundraisers and parades over the years and would love for memorials to be made to the Korean War Veterans Association of the Quad Cities.
Dennis Keith Johnson was born December 31, 1961, in Morrison, Illinois, the son of Ernest and Darlene Mary (Snowden) Johnson. He graduated from Moline High School in 1979 and went on to marry the love of his life, Victoria Raya on July 9, 1983, in Rock Island.
Dennis had a passion for trucking, and he drove a semi for many years before working at Mutual Wheel. He enjoyed building model cars and trucks and would frequently "add" to the model trucks to make them more realistic. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Dennis, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Johnson; three sons, Joe (Britney) Johnson of East Moline, Nick Johnson of Moline, and Steve (fiancé Laykin Mlekush) Johnson of Erie, Illinois; four grandchildren, Adelyn, Joey, Jackson, and Lyla Johnson; two sisters, Susan (Dennis) Treaner of Rock Island, and Sandra (Steve) Woods of Milan; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Darlene Johnson; and a brother in infancy, Brian Johnson.
