Edward L. Castelein
January 4, 1940-March 4, 2023
CEDAR RAPIDS-Edward L. Castelein, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, March 4, 2023. A visitation will be held from 3 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids. Burial: Leon Cemetery, Prophetstown, Illinois.
Survivors include his children, Chris Castelein and his wife, DJ of Hiawatha, Iowa; two grandchildren, Sophia Castelein, and Owen Castelein; and sister, Grace Castelein Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Promise House Memory Care unit or an Alzheimer's charity of the donor's choice.
