Ellen J. Krouth, 92, of Moline, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Overlook Senior Living, Moline.
Funeral services will be 10:30am, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4-6pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association, Bethel Wesley Church or Hospice Compassus.
Ellen was born May 13, 1931 in Iowa City, IA the daughter of Elmer C. and Bonnie (Kelsey) Roeder. She married Robert "Bob" Krouth on July 10, 1949 in Iowa City, IA. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2017
Ellen was a member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline and former member of Pinnacle Country Club, the Southpark Tennis Club, Moline Turners, and Twentieth Century Women's Club. She enjoyed snow skiing, golfing, playing tennis and gymnastics.
Survivors include her children, Greg (Vicki) Krouth, Preemption, IL, Dave (Carole) Krouth, Milan and Doug Krouth, Rock Island; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven and a sister, Alice Scott.
The family would like to thank Overlook Village for the wonderful care they gave their mom over the past two and a half years.
