ROCK ISLAND-Emerson Molina, 58, of Rock Island, IL, passed away Wednesday February 23, 2022 in Rock Island.
No services are planned at this time. Emerson's family will host a private Celebration of his life at a later date in Chicago, IL; (if your celebrating his life) his favorite color is purple… Donation's in memory of Emerson may be made to Carmen Rodriguez, and may be sent to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, to be forwarded to her.
Emerson was born February 10, 1964 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, a son of Roberto and Lydia E. (Bruno) Molina.
Emerson was a plumber, handyman, and "Jack of all trades". He enjoyed writing and drawing, and had hopes to write a book someday. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and always enjoyed joking with them.
Surviving are his children, Emilia Molina, Gurnee, IL, Lydia Molina, Springfield, IL, Giovanni Molina, Chicago, IL and Angel Jones, Madison, WI; two granddaughters; siblings, Carmen L. Rodriguez, Chicago, IL, Rosa I. Horner, Arizona, Jasmine Gutierrez, Chicago, Myra Huff, Crown Point, IN, Gloria Cardona, Springfield, MA, Luz Cardona, Chicopee, MA, Carmen Falcón, Springfield, MA and Juan Falcón, Springfield, MA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
