I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Gaylene's family and especially, Dr. Nefzger. I was a student at Augustana from 1981-85 and had the privilege of having Dr. Nefzger as a professor and the privilege of knowing Mrs. Nefzger, when she worked in the ticket office in the College Center. I always found her to be so kind and helpful. She always exhibited a joyful heart, which was so encouraging to me. I always enjoyed seeing them at the Augustana basketball games as well in the last number of years. May God bring comfort and peace to your family.
