George Dellos brought love and warmth to the world and it is with great sadness that we share his passing. George died on December 1, 2022 at his home in Osprey, FL with his wife Kay by his side. Born in Moline, IL on February 19, 1936, he was the oldest of three sons of Maria and Nick Dellos. He was a long-time resident of Moline, and in 1995 began vacationing in the Sarasota area. In 2003 he and Kay became full-time residents of Osprey.

George is survived by his wife of 62 years, Catherine (Kay) Coppens Dellos, two children, David Dellos (Laura) of Coralville, IA, and Anne Dellos (Leo Lauer) of Phoenix, AZ, two grandchildren, Adam and Ben Dellos, both of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by brothers John (Patricia) and Spiro (Dawn) Dellos. George loved, enjoyed, and was committed to his family, which includes extended family members around the world.

He was employed by Deere & Company for 40 years, retiring in a senior management position. He was a graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island, IL and a proud veteran of the US Army. He was a long-time member of Short Hills Country Club in East Moline, IL and a member and past president of Mission Valley Country Club in Nokomis, FL. He was a board members and past president of Willowbend community in Osprey.
