James L. Sibley

December 3, 1944-January 27, 2022

MOLINE-James L. Sibley, 77, Moline, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday, February 4, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Memorial service following at 6 p.m.

Jim was born December 3, 1944, Kewanee, to Clarence "Bud" Sibley Jr. and Loretta "Peg" M. DeSplinter. He married Marsha M. Benson, who preceded him in death in 1971. He enjoyed years bowling, golfing, cards, and spending time with family.

Jim is survived by his children; Connie Hill, Tim Sibley, Todd (Zona) Sibley, Shelly (Chris) Kuehlem, Matt (Kendra) Lloyd, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.

Jim and I went to RIHS together in the early 1960´s. We ran the oneways in his Pontiac and belonged to a bowling league. When he married we drifted apart. Jim was a good man
