Funeral services for Kenneth Thomas "Big Tom" Ohrberg, 80, of Moline, IL, will be 11 am Thursday March 16, 2023, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9-11am prior to services. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Mr. Ohrberg passed away peacefully Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his home.
Tom was born December 4, 1942, in Moline the son of Morris and Elsie Henderkott Ohrberg. He married Linda E. Ader May 13, 2000 in Moline. Tom owned and operated Big Tom's Home Improvement for over 20 years. Big Tom loved to fish and visiting family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Theresa (Rich) Vershaw, Hampton, IL, John (J.T.) Ohrberg, Davenport, IA, David (Sherry) Hooker, Hampton, Lorna Thompson, Coal Valley, IL, Toni Cheverez, Colona, IL, and Tammy Burns, Moline; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jay Ohrberg, CA; several nieces, nephews, and other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter; Patricia Sims; and sister, Jeannie Scherf.
