MOLINE-Kim M. Gorge, 66, of Moline, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4-6pm Tuesday at Rafferty Funeral Home 2111 1st St. A, Moline with a rosary at 3:30pm. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Kim was born May 28, 1956 in Moline, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Braden) DeWitte, Sr. She married David Gorge on June 25, 1977 in Davenport.
Kim was a 1974 graduate of Moline High School. She retired from Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island in 2018 after 38 years.
Kim was a member of St. Maria Goretti, Coal Valley.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; children, Nichole (Bert) DeLeon, Moline and Christopher Gorge, Moline; grandchildren, Gianna and Brinley; sisters, Sharon (Terry) Roets, Shawnee, KS and Paula (Jay) Paaske, Davenport; brothers, Frank DeWitte, Moline and Gerald "G" (Cindy) DeWitte, Moline and sister-in-law, Karen DeWitte, Moline. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Caden DeLeon, brother, Jim DeWitte and nephew, Jeff DeWitte.
