Lisa Marie Durey

November 21, 1968 - June 26, 2025

Lisa Marie Durey, 56, passed away on June 26, 2025, in Moline, Illinois.

Born on November 21, 1968, Lisa was a proud graduate of Rock Island High School, Class of 1986, and later attended Scott Community College. Throughout her life, she embraced a variety of roles with determination and resilience, working in positions ranging from line cook to concrete truck driver.

Lisa is lovingly remembered by her mother, Ann Durey of Moline, IL; her sister Laura (Jeff) Shaw of Speedway, IN; her brother Rick Durey (Julie Sachau) of Port Byron, IN; her niece Jaci (Josh) Daupert of Yelm, WA; and her cherished grandchildrenRylee Baker of Coal Valley, IL; Caden Martin and Lucas Durey, both of Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Durey, her nephew Michael Shaw, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lisa was a bright light to those who knew her and held a deep love for her familyespecially her grandchildren. Her warmth and spirit left lasting impressions on many.

In accordance with Lisa's wishes, there will be no memorial service. She requested that her ashes be interred as a living memorial in a forest. She would want each person to celebrate her life in their own way and in their own time.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

I knew Lisa from SWEETWATER in Moline. Nice girl, never caused anyone a problem that I know of. I love that smile! Sorry to hear that she passed away so young.
