MOLINE-Lynn J. DeSplinter, 72, of Moline, passed away Monday January 23, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
A gathering to Celebrate Lynn's life will be held from 1:00-5:00pm Saturday February 25, 2023 at the Milan American Legion. Memorials may be left to the family for a charity to be decided on at a later date.
Lynn was born on August 19, 1950 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gordon and Dorothy (Hingle) Schock. She married Dev DeSplinter on November 9, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mrs. DeSplinter had been employed with Char-Nor and later Milan Surplus as a business manager.
She loved spending time with her family, traveling to Mexico, dinner's with friends, dancing and music.
Survivors include her husband, Devrin, Moline; children, Ryan (Courtney) Abraham, North Liberty, Iowa, Theresa Abraham-Heart, Tuscon, Arizona; grandchildren, Danovan Abraham, Lily Heart, Tyler Heart; mother in law, Regina DeSplinter, Moline; nephew, Gary Schock; niece, Beth Schock; several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Dorothy Schock; brother, Gary Schock; father in law, Gene DeSplinter and brother in law, Brett DeSplinter.
The family would like the thank the caring staff at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus for the outstanding care and support they provided.
