MOLINE - Margo Marie Machmer, 69, of Moline, passed away April 22, 2024, at UnityPoint Health Trinity.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.
Memorials may be given in Margo's name to a charity of your choice.
Margo was born on December 11, 1954, at Fort Jackson, SC, the daughter of Charles I. Mitchell and Mary E. (Doeckel) May, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Floyd R. May. She married David Lee Machmer at Bethel Assembly of God, Rock Island on August 27, 1977. He preceded her in death in March of 2015. Margo loved to garden, crochet and sew. She was an expert socializer and loved being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her sister, Doris (Mitch) Fincher; brother, Tom May; Aunt Joan Doeckel-Lehan; loving friend, Ed Cavins; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; 30 nieces and nephews; and her many friends and extended family members.
Margo was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Dennis Mitchell; sister, Catherine Dinneen.
