Marvin Enstrom, 87, of Alpha, passed away March 26, 2024, at St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Alpha United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at New Windsor (Petrie) Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alpha United Methodist Church.

Marvin was born on August 3, 1936, in Galesburg, the son of Floyd and Lillie (Johnson) Enstrom. He married Ann Sholl on July 3, 1954. He was an active member of Alpha United Methodist Church, serving on multiple committees. Marvin and Ann loved traveling the United States after his retirement and visiting over 50 zoos in their travels. He enjoyed gardening and eating ice cream.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Dayle) Learned, East Galesburg; daughter-in-law, Lynn (Daniel) Skalla, East Moline; grandchildren: Ryan (Anne) Learned, Gardner, KS, Dayle (Joyce) Learned Jr., North Henderson, Rachel (Ken) Gellerstedt, Neenah, WI, and Julia (Grant) Williams, Rock Island; great-grandchildren: Ben, Amelia, Christie, Jude, Zoe, and Teddy; brother, Ken Enstrom; sisters-in-law, Jan and Joyce Sholl; brother-in-law, Bob (Vicki) Sholl; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Enstrom; parents; daughter, Rebecca Enstrom; son, Keith Enstrom; brother, Don (Rosalie) Enstrom; and sister-in-law, Charleen Enstrom.
