Mary O. Francis

February 6, 1933 - October 26, 2025

Mary O. Francis, 92, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of East Moline, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Park Bend Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Burleson, Texas.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society).

Mary was born on February 6, 1933, in Morgan County, Ill., the daughter of Lester and Ada (Robinson) Hungate. She married John Francis, who preceded her in death. Mary loved spending time with her family and cooking them delicious meals.

Mary is survived by her children, Cathy Dillon, Ruth (Steve) Edwards, Joe (Vickie) Francis, and Andy (Tracy) Francis; grandchildren, Billy Kaple, Mary VanDyke, Elaine McKamey, Julie Noel, Andy Francis, and Mattie Francis; great-grandchildren, Willa and Henry McKamey, Jordan and Jaden Noel, C.J. and Seth Noel, and Joshua Burkhart; and sister, Joyce Hungate. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis; parents; and son-in-law, Art Dillon.
