Patricia R. Blondell, 84, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Langman Construction, 220 34th Ave., Rock Island. A private service will be held at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, Rock Island, or Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Patricia was born December 29, 1939, in Moline, the daughter of Francis "Fite" and Amy (Stem) Murphy. She married Walter Blondell on April 4, 1959, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Warba, MN.
Patricia and her husband Walt previously owned Blondell Plumbing, Moline, where she worked as Secretary.
Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Pat and Walt enjoyed traveling coast to coast in their RV.
Patricia's life was built around her large family including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Walt; children: Krista Blondell, Moline, Steve (Kelly) Blondell, Milan, Bridget Blondell-Laud, Moline, Patrick Blondell, Center Valley, PA, and Josh (Tara) Blondell, Moline; grandchildren: Jessica, Alyssa, Alex, Bethany, Kate, Allyson, Justin, Brittany, Mason, Marshall, Taylor, Logan, Clayton and Caroline Blondell; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Rene Boothby) Murphy, Tampa, FL; niece, Giselle, and nephew, Andre; and a special friend, Jackie Shattuck, Coal Valley. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Lower; and infant daughter, Hope Michelle.

Walt, Steve , Bridget, Krista Pat and Josh .. I´m so incredibly sad to see this, I would have loved to have gone to the Celebration, but just now saw this. Love it when she came into the store... known you all for 40 plus years... wonderful lady....

My sincere condolences to the family. I have very fond memories of my time spent at the Blondell home growing up. I was treated like one of the family. I ran into Pat on occasion over the years and we always had a great conversation. You are all in my thoughts during your time of grief.
