MOLINE-Rock L. Dual, 60, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at home.
Services are 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Rock's memory.
Rock Lee Dual was born April 19, 1962, in Moline, the son of Monte Lee and Rose (Hill) Dual. He married Sheryl Dual and later divorced. He worked as a heavy crane operator for Local 150 for over 42 years.
He enjoyed gambling, watching westerns on television, and spending time with his friends and family.
Rock is survived by beloved daughters, Lacey (Scott Bowser) James and LeeAnn (Chris) Hamilton; grandchildren, Marissa James, Gavin Hamilton, and Madeline Hamilton; his step-mother, Donna Dual; nephews, Albert Dual, Anmon Dual, and Monte Dual of Rock Island; two sisters; many great-nieces and great-nephews; his former school sweetheart of over 28 years, Brenda Knorr; and good friend, Mary Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Dixie Dual.
