Shirley Hemphill

Shirley Hemphill 87 of Nokomis, Florida formerly of Silvis, IL passed away July 6, 2021. She was born Nov. 28, 1933 in Moline, IL. She married Donald Hemphill in 1949. he passed away in 2016.
She was a floral designer for over 50 years. She volunteered, enjoyed reading and loved writing letters to family and friends. She loved traveling and spending summers at her Minnesota cabin with family.
Survivors include son: Richard Hemphill, daughters: Barbara Meldrum, Dianne Hemphill, Debra (Tom) Bennett; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and sisters Donna Green, Linda (Bill) Turner, and Sandra Kasten.
